“Cannabis Hub.LT 2022”: International industrial hemp business event

The International industrial hemp business event “Cannabis Hub.LT 2022” is being organized by the Centre for Business and Social Partnership at the VMU Agriculture Academy and the Association of Industrial Hemp Growers, Processors, and Business Innovators, and it will be held on 11–12 November 2022 in Lithuania! And Obelisk Farm will be there!

Representatives from Lithuania, Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland will participate in the conference and exhibition.
The themes of the event:
- Construction using hemp composite materials;
- Certified seeds of industrial hemp and modern cultivation technologies;
- Organic fertilizers, plant protection products, and biostimulants;
- Equipment and technology for drying and storing industrial hemp products;
- Fiber hemp products (food, cosmetics, etc.);
- Institutions administering and supporting the development of the industrial hemp business;
- Selection, research, and consultancy services of industrial hemp;
- Other.
The theme of the conference is "The development of the hemp business in the Baltic region - a prerequisite for a bioeconomy breakthrough". The conference will address the legal framework for the industrial hemp business, introduce hemp cultivation and processing technologies, innovations in the production of hemp fiber and fabrics, as well as best practices on how cannabinoids can be used in the cosmetics and food industries. The conference program will focus on the construction and renovation of buildings using hemp biocomposites.
